SnapPolish Privacy Policy

SnapPolish ("the extension") is operated by Novixway LLC.
Captures
The extension captures a screenshot only when you explicitly trigger it: by clicking its toolbar button, choosing one of its right-click menu items or pressing one of its keyboard shortcuts. The image is processed entirely inside your browser, unless you choose to create a share link.
What is stored, and where
Captured images (the five most recent, for up to 24 hours), uploaded logos and backgrounds, templates and settings are stored locally on your device in browser storage. Settings may sync between your own devices if you have browser sync turned on. Nothing is uploaded to us or to any third party unless you create a share link.
Share links (optional, Pro)
If you click Share link and confirm, the image you are editing is uploaded to storage operated by Novixway LLC on Cloudflare (Workers and R2), and anyone with the link can view it. Nothing is uploaded unless you confirm.
We store the image, its upload time and a hash of its delete token. Your ExtensionPay account key is sent with the upload to confirm that you have Pro. We keep only a hash of that key, for up to 30 days, to apply a daily limit. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses as our infrastructure provider.
Images are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can delete a link sooner from the Share link window. To report an image, use the link on its page or email us.
Auto-redact
The optional auto-redact feature (Pro) scans only the text inside the area you are capturing, locally in your browser, to cover sensitive information such as email addresses and API keys before the capture is taken. The scanned text is not stored or sent anywhere.
Payments
If you buy SnapPolish Pro, payment is handled by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) and Stripe. They receive your email address and payment details under their own privacy policies. The extension stores an ExtensionPay account key and your paid status in browser storage so Pro features keep working offline.
What we do not do
We do not use analytics or tracking. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it beyond what this policy describes.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the extension deletes all data it stored on your device. Share links stay online until they expire, so delete them first if you want them gone sooner.
Changes
We will notify users in the extension before any change to how data is handled.
